No, you shouldn't because if they are in a little pond, most likely they were put there so they wouldn't be harmed. If you want to fish, try a large body of water like an ocean.
i want to know if cheese is very high quality bait or not,and if i should bring the cheese in like a cooler, or just let it sit in the sun while im fishing?
I have caught 10+lbs. large mouth bass from the smallest of ponds. You must approach the pond with stealth and use worms or small frogs hooked so they can swim. that's a jackpot. cast with the same stealth, you don't want the bait slamming into the water.
