how should I do the cycle my fish tank?

I would like to know the fastest, easiest way to cycle my tank. Should I do fishless cycling by "feeding" my tank flake food? or should i buy zebra danios and use some water from an already cycled tank? Those are my two main options because I dont have ammonia. Also, about how much are aquarium test kits? Thanks!

Cycling doesn't begin until fish waste (poop) is introduced.

Using water from an already cycled tank will help.

Start with a small number of fish and only feed once every three days for three weeks.

Books are the best source of information for aquariums and fish.

Test kits start at about 10-20 dollars. As for the cycling, just put fish in it or use some water from already cycled tank.
