How should I decorate my new room?

Okay, I'm redecorating my room and I don't know what to do for it. I'm a teenager, so no little-girly stuff please! My room is quite small, so I was thinking of painting it white, put my (wooden) chest of draws in the corner, getting rid of my wardrobe (it's really old, takes up a lot of room and I've got plenty of room for my clothes elsewhere) and putting this bed set on my bed and using the matching curtains:

Please give me advice by choosing one of the above or giving me links to other things e.t.c duvet sets and curtains and telling me what colour walls would look best (you pick any colour you think would look good).

Suggest anything - please help!
