so this project is for a business card. I have the images edited and done up in Photoshop. I have the copy and layout done in InDesign. and I have the logo made in Illustrator.
what should i save each file as, and how should i import them into InDesign to combine them all? (i assume the best end-point is InDesign....unless im wrong...)

thanks so much!

You should be able to save the Illustrator document as a .AI file and import that into InDesign. Then, if your Photoshop documents are pictures or photographs, you should be able to save them as high-quality .PNG files and import them to InDesign. That way you will have everything in high-quality and placed into your InDesign file.

Save each file in it's native format. Your programs are all Adobe programs, and the CS programs can all "inter-open" each others files (if similar).

As for which program to use, that is personal opinion. I made my cards in Photoshop, because I know how to use Photoshop better than the others. If you are comfortable with InDesign, and your layouts are already there, go ahead and use it.

Good luck with your business cards!
