I have a lease in OR that begins in three weeks. I'll be maintaining my CA lease for five weeks. Currently I have a CA driver's license and no car. I'd like to purchase a car ASAP and license it in OR so I don't have to pay a 10% CA sales tax.
Does anyone know at what point in time, and in which state I need to get this car?
Do I need to wait until I have a OR driver's license?
