How should I approach her?

So the first day of class I sat one desk away from this girl and I'm getting the vibe shes checking me out. Second day of class I sat at the totally opposite side of the room and I caught her looking at me even made eye contact with her a few times. So I guess she likes me...would it be weird if I just sat next to her and said whats up or would that be creepy and awkward. Im not rly a shy person so I'm not rly worried about making conversation. This is a college class btw.
