We may be there for two weeks working and holidaying and I am wondering if it is wise to hire a car and do our own site seeing, your comments please. We think that we are streetwise!!!

if you are not familial to Malaysia Driver " STYLE " on the road.is total NOT Safe ! accident rate in Malaysia in one of the higher in the world. you may also " loss you way. since only 2 weeks . day time on work , just take TAXI .
i think it's better to walk or take the public transport if you're planning on doing some sight seeing. you may be street wise, but even locals get lost on the highways. the traffic is horrendous, and the drivers won't give you a chance.
