Are they actually going to sell Fiats? Fiat are Italian made cars which I usually see in Europe when I visit. They obviously compact as its a different automotive world out there. American cars are over sized and unnecessarily large.
As for safety, Fiat actually rate pretty high for occupant collision safety. Most likely, if you were to get high by a Chevy Tahoe, and I hope you don't, the car would be totaled but you would be alright.
Anyways, this is very exciting to see Italian cars in America, other than Ferrari and Lamborghini. Affordable ones is what I mean to say.
