How roomy is Honda Civic hatchback?

I'm 6'5" and I might buy one. I don't have any to try out nor can I think of anyone I know who has one I can look at. I guess I could just go to a dealer and look. It would be nice to hear your opinions. Also, if you own one, can you tell me how reliable they are? I'm looking at about a '99 model. It would be a hatchback if that makes any difference. Thanks
