How reliable is a 2000 Dodge Intrepid?

I heard there were sludge problems with it that caused the engine to fail. Did anyone experience it? Is it a great car?
 
these are the reported problems with the 2000 intrepid.click on the link below.. i would not worry. the thing i would do is make sure the car had oil changes and was taking care of.i own a lexus es 300 and it was nown for oil/engine sludge. i change my oil as reqiured and never have had a problem.you did not mention how many miles the car has.you should be okay
