so here is my little 3 year plan ... because i'm the type of OCD 14 year old who plans out what she wants to do with riding in the next three years. okay so i need your opinion on if this is even attainable.
right now i'm at the jumping 2' level, working on flying lead changes, schooling 2'6", working on half seat, solid two point, and position on flat. but i've done this all in the last six months i was just trotting ground poles and i was not on a dead school horse, i was on a 6 Y/O Tb.
so i really want to go to the maclay regionals in three or two years.
so i was thinking if i worked hard on perfecting Eq on a more experienced but not fancy horse for this upcoming show season into next winter. during this time i would work on my EQ on working on making my riding as flawless as possible.
then since i would be a better rider people would want to let me lease their horse because i would want to put show miles on it so when they got the horse back i would be worth a lot more. i would find a fancy horse who's owner wanted them to get A show experience. so during this show season with a fancy horse i would do hard core showing and try to rack up points and experience and maybe qualify for the maclay regionals.
after that show season i would find a new even nicer horse to lease if possible an do the same thing again ... show hard core and try to go to reigonals again.
i don't expect to make it to the finals i just want to say i was good enough to be able to have enough points to go to reigonals. do you think i will be able to get this good? or am i setting myself up to be disappointed? don't be super rude if you think i'm stupid for thinking i can do this, i tend to get really sensitive when i talk about my goals on horses.
in the 13th line i had a miss type ... it should say " when that got the horse back IT would ...
