When you consider that Pelosi has a positive rating in single digits it all makes sense.

Colbert is funny, but his shtick is to pretend he's conservative and make them out to be morons. It's cute, but it would be nice if he were more honest with his humor.

Colbert is what's known as a "useful idiot" for progressives like Pelosi, so naturally she praises him.
