How on earth does one start a business?

For some time now, I've sat in my cubicle and fantasized about running my own bookstore. I am not a rich person, however, and my credit score is in the toilet (student loans + surgery). Hypothetically, how would I get the start-up cash to open said store?
 
well u can ask personal loan from friends
or
u can ask share help from ur bank so if the gain comes they can have there share with interest or u can have share from ur friend but u have to work on the feasibility of ur book shop.
