How old is my Ovation guitar?

Hi, I just bought an Ovation guitar from a music store and the store clerk told me that he assumed the guitar is 20 to 30 years old. It has a brown case and is a Glen Campbell series. The model number is 1127-4. If anyone could guide me in the right place to look to do some research, I would really appreciate it. Also, I found a page on the Ovation site called "cracking the code" where you find information about the guitar with the code, but I couldn't figure out the age of the guitar. Thanks again people.
