How old do you have to be to get your manga/comic published?

Im 14(illustrator)and my friend is 16 (author), and we were wondering if we can get our manga published.Its going really well, and once its done we hope to publish it
 
well, I would like my manga, once it's finished, to be published by Tokyo Pop, maybe, but witht hem, I think you have to graduate first, so manga doesn't interfere with your school work, as a good education is very important to them. Since I'm 13, (almost going to be 14) I've got a long way to go, but once your friend graduates, he could probably get your guys' work published, before you even pass 12th grade, since he'll be old enough! (:}}
