How often should your boyfriend text you?

My boyfriend of nearly 4 months texts me on average 5-6 times a day. One text every couple of hours I'd say. And when he runs out of credit, he will call me.

We're both shy so we don't really call eachorther often lol. But does this seem right? And we see eachother maybe 2-3 times a week.

We're 21 and both still live with parents lol.
