i work in a facility that puts me in direct contact with chromium trioxide anhydrous. I chrome plate rolls for steel mills. The hexvailant chromium is mixed with sulfuric acid and used to plate the steel rolls with chrome. How often should an individual in these working conditions be checked for possable chrome poisioning or unacceptable levels of chrome exposure? I can not devulge the company that I work for, as for a fear of disciplinary action.
