How often should I clean my fish tank?

I have a 5 gallon tank and there's 5 little fish...
I feed them twice a day
No filter

you should get a filter but if not once a week and make sure to clean out the substtrate every month or so

change the feeding to once a day
instead of twice a day they dont need that much there stomaches are very small so they only need feeding once
and clean the tank once a week take out a quatre of the tank water not more than this
do you have goldfish as you dont have a filter?
if you have tropical fish you MUST get a filter or they will die

once every week change about 20 percent of the water....be sure to make sure that you have the right temp and P.H
