E eagle New member Aug 29, 2009 #1 There is a "oil life" indicator in the dash it tells percentage of oil life remaining. At 10% to 5% the oil has been in the truck for nearly 7,000 - 7,500 miles. In my other vehicles I always change my oil at 3,000 miles.
