how often does my jeep wrangler (2007 jk sahara 2dr) oil differential need

to be changed? iwent to the dealership the other day and they told me that i have to change it every 30k's on 4x4 wranglers.....then another guys told me its 40k......its alot of money, about $400...and i dont want to do it now if i cant wait a bit longer....anyone know?? manual doesnt say!
 
It is fairly easy for any good mechanic to do. The oil is only about $30 for synthetic. 40K miles? About right if you never go off road. If you do off road then i would change it more frequently.
