...15,000 miles?)? I read many times that a new Honda CR-V with all-wheel-drive typically requires having its rear-differential oil changed, approximately every 15,000 miles (about 25,000 km). I use an extened-life special synthetic engine oil (Mobil-1, special type) that only needs changing every 20,000 km, so does that mean that I should also change my rear-differential oil at the same time?

What a "Bummer" if that's true, because that's NOT easy! I really should have bought just a front-drive CR-V as I really don't need AWD, not living in the city with next to no snow here in Waterloo Ontario Canada.

What have you heard about Honda CR-V differentials, how often did you hear that they need oil changes?
