I just read an article written in 2009 saying that the Army was trying to change the deployment cycle by 2011 for active duty to 1 year active 2 to 3 years home. It was supposed to make things easier for the soldiers and there families. However I'm not quite sure if they actually went through with it. So does anyone know the deployment cyle for active duty Army?
