How often are their price drops on Playstation Network Games?

I just got me the PS3 Slim & wanted to bite on 2 games I saw on the Playstation Network...but a friend at work told me they go on sale ALL the time, sometimes going as low as half price...but usually for a very limited time (1-3 days) Can someone enlighten me? Also, is there a good site to check for these kind of sudden price drops on PSN games daily?
