I am starting to look into selling my truck that I have had for the past 6 years. The truck KBB's for $3500, but my question is what would you actually pay for it, because the two will be different? My goal is to find a number that I can expect to get out of the truck.
1997 Ford Ranger Splash Regular Cab
V6 3.0L Engine
5 Speed Manual Transmission
124K
Rear Sliding Window
Step Side Bed
Aftermarket CD Player
Fold Down Armrest/bench seats
Tonneau Cover
Bed Liner
Brand New Tires, Starter, Leaf Springs
Routine maintenance, never any problems with the car
The truck drives great and is in great condition.
Minor rust spot on the rear bumper, but nothing major to worry about.
What would you be willing to pay for this truck?
Sorry the $3500 was with the truck in good, not excellent condition. As I have been looking around I have seen other websites such as edmunds.com and caranddriver.com price the car between $3900 and $4500. I think that is extremely overpriced for the truck too. I am just looking to see what people would offer so I can estimate what I would get out of it. I am in no rush to sell the car, just if the right price came along from someone around town, I would sell it.
