If you need brake pads only, open your local paper for specials at tire shops, private shops and new car dealers. You should be able to skate out for less than $100.00. Please understand this price is only if you don't need new brake rotors which cost under $35.00 each at any auto parts store for worthless off-shore parts. Wagner, AC-Delco and EBC rotors are made of a much higher quality cast iron but cost twice as much.

Here's a great website for you to "get a feel" how much parts cost for your truck: autopartswarehouse.com. They have several lines and brands of brake pads (ceramic) and all qualities of brake rotors. Any order over $50.00 is shipped free with no sales tax. -- Go for it!! Great place to buy parts. Hire Uncle Willie over on Jump Street to do your brakes. It'll only take an hour for the front and another hour for the rear if needed!

If you lived in Up State NY we wouldn't rob you to death and would also explain the plus and minus of brands, brake compounds and brake rotors.

your looking at about 400 dollars for the parts maybe 200-300 for labour depenting on the quality.
