how much would my 1988 jeep cherokee be worth? (details..)?

1988 jeep cherokee laredo, the previous owner was sellin it for $1,800.
since we bought it we put new brakes, boosters for the brakes or whatever, it has kind of a new motor and transmision, new battery, has next to perfect exterior, interior has like a few rips in the celing fabric. has less than 172,000 miles on it. 4.0 L motor. it dies sometimes when the A/C is on. its in great condition for its age so how much do you think i could sell it for? i was thinkin around $2,000. we almost put that much into the jeep its self.
i want to upgrade for one thats $3,000. i know i cant sell this one for that much thats just what im workin for...

well i paid 2500 for a 98 ltd so you'll be lucky to get what you paid for it i would think that you'll only get 1500 out of it
 
Always think positive Josh... Put a 4-sale sign on it and see who bites .... Just because people say you can't get your money back doesn't mean you can't try too.... Put on it what you'd like to get and whats new in it and see what happens ... Make sure it's clean inside and out and i mean detail it .... make it shine .... If you think it's worth it so will they............. Good Luck ....and just be fair with people ...
 
If you are lucky you will get $1800 for it. I just bought a 1992 for $500 and drove it away.
 
if your lucky you might get what you payed for it you can ask more but dont look for it
