How much would it cost to to put an engine in a mazda Rx-7.?

I currently have a friend who will give me his rx-7. The problem is that the engine doesn't work, or it doesn't have an engine, one of the two. The year of the car is sometime in the early 1980's, how much do you think it would cost to put in an engine?
