How much would it cost to ship a bicycle from the US to UK?

I have a bike that i need to get from the states. it's very light, no more than 27lb. How much would it be to ship it to the uk??
The bike itself only cost 40$(thrift store) so I don't know if anything over 100$ is worth it..
 
I'm hoping to buy a vintage bicycle myself but the kind I want are only common in the USA.

A guy on the forum suggested it might be possible for someone to bring a bike back for me from the Copake auctions.

I can tell you airmail is expensive; the cost for me to send a large hardback book to Canada was £25!
