To repair an excessive oil burning problem equal to approximately 1 qt every 2 weeks if not more. My car (Mitsubishi Eclipse 2000 has 135000 miles) is an interference engine and the timing belt broke which resulted in some head gaskets being bent. Now the apparent problem is to fill to much replacement oil. So im assuming the gaskets are somewhat leaking oil and allowing it to burn in combustion. Im trying to figure if the price of repair is worth more than the car. Any mechanics out there?
I've already repaired the timing belt 2 years ago. My new problem is the oil burning.
