More than likely, it's the front pump seal - if it's truly only a "small leak" or perhaps seepage over a long period of time, I wouldn't be too concerned with it. Just keep an eye on the ground where you generally park it and check the level occasionally.
It's a relatively expensive repair to remove the transmission to replace this seal.
