How much would it cost to convert my 1997 automatic mercury sable to a stick shift?

I know that generally Mercury Sables only come as automatic, but would it be at all possible to convert it to a standard? If so, about how much would it cost? I feel I have much more control over what I'm doing when I'm the one shifting the gears rather than the car doing it for me. I thought I would like an automatic much better, but I cannot stand it. Any help?!
 
to convert your car in to manual its gonna cost you more then your piece of crap car is worth
 
Alot. Anything can be done with enough time and money, but that project would take ALOT of time and money.
 
more than the car is worth.yes it can be done but would be cheaper to buy a car already equipped with a stick shift.
 
Get a new car. It would cost too much, and I don't know who would do it. You'd have to do it yourself, and it would be hard and expensive. Just get a car with a manual tranny.
