1997 Suzuki Swift? I'm no mechanic, but I believe my transmission on my car is malfunctioning and/or broken. It's a 5-speed manual, and it's accelerating extremely slow... it struggles to make it over 35 mph and I have to put heavy pressure on the pedal. The car used to peel out if I accelerated too fast, now I have to rev the engine loudly and it doesn't pick up, just revs and slowly increments in speed. It's kind of like if you were holding the clutch pedal down while putting pressure on the gas (except it does move, but again... slowly).
I sort of have a dilemma here, I'm afraid the repairs might be more than the car is worth, or it might just be a better idea to replace it with something a little better.
