ok..
i have a question earlier (few hours ago) about buying a bike from target or walmart.
and practically all of them said that its not a good idea.. (which is true)
i just need a bike for transpo, no wheelie and jumping stuff.
just a good smooth ride.
my budget is about 150$ only.

if buying bike to department stores is such a bad idea,
how much will it cost me if i buy a bike from a bike store then?

If you only have $150 that's about the only place you are going to be able to buy a bike. Bike shops cheapest bike will be4 times that.

Here are some hybrid bike prices. You can get a nice one for less then one car payment.

The bikes at retail stores are not bad bikes... They are very poorly built when they are shipped to the store. Also they offer next to zero warranty due to the poor build. A bike shop will typically give you a one year to lifetime maintenance package at no charge. You'll save in the long run, but it's gonna cost about $200-$300 at a bike shop. Go for it though, you'll be happy in the end.
