How much would beginning ballroom lessons cost?

A friend and I were thinking of taking ballroom classes somewhere. But we'd like the know around of what the average cost would be.

We don't need to go to a super fancy place and its just basic ballroom.
 
I live in mid-sized city with several different studios in the area.
We have a Fred Astaire studio and ballet studio that offer ballroom. When I first began I choose the ballet studio becuase it was cheaper, but I didn't really like it and the quality was poor. So I switched to Fred Astaire where they specialize just in ballroom. I love it. It's $70 a month for two lessons a week. The shoes were quite expensive. Like $80. Make sure to ask your instructor which kind of shoes you will need. Oh, I take classes in a group of like 12. And when I first started I had a new partenr every week, but I only alternate between two now. The instructor will probably place you with someone based on height.
