It depends how much cheaper the V8s are. What are the comparisons? If it's that good of a bargain I wouldn't worry about gas mileage and get the V8. Otherwise stick to the good ol' 4.0I if you want a balance of power and fuel efficiency. Remember gas mileage should be your secondary priority when buying a vehicle.
