A cylindrical waiter tank of radius 3m and height 12m is half filled with water. How much work is required to pump all of the water out through a hole in the top of the tank? The density of the water is 1000kg/m^3

Weight of water=3x3xPix6x1000x9.8=1' 662' 530.8newtons
Avg height=9meters
work=9x 1 ' 662 ' 530.8=14' 962' 777.5 joules=14 ' 963kj
It is NOT a scientific solution.
