How much will it cost to get an injunction in place for noisy neibours?

My wife owns 50 % of a flat in cardiff. Her father has installed our 25 year old nephew into the flat and he is creating problems with the neigbours with noise, music and antisocial behaviour resulting in a solicitors letter threatening an injunction being sent to my wife. What will be the costs involved if an injunction is raised and what are the peneties if he continues to behave unacceptably and what can we do as her father calls the shots but he is 85 Years old..Help??
