I have a '99 Cadillac Deville and I live in Florida. To those who don't know or haven't guessed, it's insane to live here and not have ac. I got my brakes fixed a couple weeks ago at Tires Plus and the mechanics also checked my ac for me. They told me I had a leak, and that it would cost about $800 to fix it. He said it because I had a $2500 system.
Does this sound like a reasonable price to pay to get my ac fixed? Should I take my car to a place that specializes in ac and will they cost less? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.
