How much will it cost if I flash a T-mobile sidekick, to the Verizon network.?

So right now I have Verizon, and I like it... however I REALLY want a sidekick so my friend to me about flashing phones. So I'm kind of wondering,

-does it work?
-how much might it cost?
-and will it affect my current contract with my Verizon phone?
