I already have a plan set up on Rogers and I want to get the new iPhone 3G. I know that the 199 and 299 prices are for buying it with a 2-year plan or whatever, but I already have a plan so what will it cost?

The 3G iPhone (just like the first iPhone) will cancel your current plan and start a new 2 year plan.
So it will still cost $199 and $299.
However if you are not qualified for upgrade (your current plan is with a non-iPhone phone and it hasn't ended) then you will possibly pay the normal $399 and $499 unsubsidized price.
But Rogers may have their own thing, as the above statement only applies to AT&T.

Just wait for the 3g iphone that will be unlocked. i am almost sure it will be out sonner than we think...

Sorry you have to sign a two year contract with AT&T when you buy the new iPhone. So if you're buying an iPhone for 199 it will be that plus the cost of signing up for a two year contract and whatever plan you get comes out to.
