How much weight is ok to carry on my back whilst hiking?

I'm doing my practice duke of edinburgh expedition tomorrow. I'm 15, 5'2, and weigh about 100lbs. And I'm not very strong at all. How heavy can my ruck sack be (with all its contents) without breaking me?
yes i know i'm light but does anyone know specifically how much i could carry?
