how much usually does grooming cost?? bath + trim/clip?

i have 2 , 6 year old mini schnauzers i have them for almost 2 months now its a male and female both are sterilized( spayed and neutered) i think that they need a good groom cause they coat is getting a bit greasy and a bit matted
i do brush them but there is some tangled fur on their stomach and i don't wanna touch that cause im worried that by brushing them i might hurt em
 
It really depends where you live and what groomers you call. Call around and research your area. It also depend on what cut you want too. If you just want them washed and detangled without a fancy cut, it might be cheaper on you. Just call and tell them what you told us, just need a little detanglement ;) GL
 
All groomers have different rates. Why don't you check out the yellow pages and call a few groomers in your area and ask. I have a small Poodle mix/mutt and my groomer charges $30.00, which I find to be very reasonable, especially since she does a fantastic job. (Don't forget to give them a tip if you think they deserve it) It would even be a good idea to ask friends and family for a referral. Personally, I'd rather pay $50.00 for a good job, than $30.00 for a botched up dog.

I have two yorkshire terriers and they can get very matted at times i get them groomed by a mobile groomer they get better treatment than i do lol it costs me £20 each for them well worth the money
