How much to replace starter motor in Ford Telstar Wagon?

I'm looking at buying an old 1989 Ford Telstar Wagon to use for a run around for work. The starter motor is playing up and needs to be replaced soon. Does anyone know how much this would cost (approx)?
I'm just wondering if it is worth it or not. Thanks
