How much to replace hubs on a 04 Dodge Dakota?

I have a 2004 Dodge Dakota and its making a humming noise when I drive. One place is telling me it's the ball joints and would be 800 to fix and the other place is telling me that the ball joints are fine and it is the hubs and it will be 600. Which problem sounds right and which price sounds right?
 
It sounds like the Hub & Bearing assembly to me. A ball jiont wont make a whirring sound while driving.
The Hub itself varies in price depending on whether its 4 wheel drive and also whether it has 4 wheel ABS or 2 wheel ABS.
2 WD without front ABS aprox $150.00
4 WD with front ABS about $300.00
Labor will run about an hour each side. My shop rate is $88.00/hr
