How Much To Fix A Blown Head Gasket On Ford Taurus?

NO shop will replace a head gasket and have the head sent to a machine shop for 500 dollars. You get what you pay for. Depends on the machine shop analysis, could run anywhere from 750-2000 dollars, just make sure you have a reputable shop do the work and have a machine shop inspect the heads once removed.
 
if its just a head gasket i would roughly estimate at $500, but their could be more issues when the engine has been taken apart.

take it to a shop you know and trust, its very easy for a shop to claim it needs more work then it does when doing a headgasket
