...with membership and ect.? Just wanting to get some figures about how much a web project idea would cost. :)

I want a poetry membership site with ajax components. I figure that it is probably a medium size project idea. How many hours does it take to do something like that and how much would the project cost? Just an estimate so I can see if I have enough funds.
 
You make it sound like you are ordering fast food there is no such thing as a meduim website are they going to ask you do you want to supersize it.

This makes sense because this is service industry hourly amount is based on the firm or persons skill level.

Best way to go at it is to come up with the budget you want to spend and quote around see if they will work for that amount. Make sure you stay on target with the quote because its a quote not the finished project. Know what you want ahead of time so you don`t end up spending more
