How much should my bicycle tires be inflated too?

-I'm 100lbs
-bike 2004 Trek 4500 with Michelin City Trekking Bike Tires (Recommended pressure (psi) 36 - 87 psi)
- ~15lbs of stuff on the rear rack.
- 2 to 5 per week- 10 mile round trips

I need help determining how much pressure I should to inflate to. Should it be close to the minimum recommend pressure?
