How much should it cost to replace 2005 Honda Civic water pump and timing belt?

My 2005 Civic ran hot during 98 degree weather- yesterday- one time- with a/c running. When I took it in this morning, they could not find a problem but recommended I replace the timing belt and water pump (car has 101,000 miles). Does this sound logical?

it does sound logical. you should change the timing belt every 70-80000 miles. your water pump is probably on its way out.
