How much should it cost to repair the groundwire in my car?

me,personally i would DIY it....its just a bad contact ..remove the wire,roughen/clean the metal and replace it....sorted.
 
Hi i have a 2000 oldsmobile alero gls. the heat isnt working unless i tap on this wire with my foot under the passenger dash. The guy at work looked and we found the wire and he taped it but it goes off and on. Today im going in to a electric mechanic and i dont wanna over pay for something thats cheap thanks guys and if you dont think this is the problem then your input is appreciated thank you.
