How much should it cost to have a new starter put in a chrysler pacifica?

Yesterday took 3 times before it started, then it ran fine when it finally did. Today it won't start at all. Car has a brand new battery.

The problem may not be the starter. Symptoms of a starter going out are a "clicking" sound when trying to start, and will usually "click" several times before the solenoid on the starter catches. Look at the battery cables, at all connecting points for a sure connection and no wear or breakage. It is possible that the solenoid on the starter is bad & needs replacing, not the whole unit. Try some things first, and then if it is deemed to be the starter, call for estimates on replacement - you will get a variety of price ranges
